As you might have figured out, blogger deleted/removed my blog, i was correct with my assumption, when you do something wrong or against the rules, you want to know what exactly caused the problem to avoid it in the future, i asked several times but they cited on breach of standard, official rules, not going in details. At this point i have already given up with this blog and the plan was to start a new one, when i was clearing some other things, my destination led me to place where i could ask blogger to review my case, without any hopes for resolution i clicked on it, maybe hoping they would give me a specific reason for removal. Next day i was checking my gmail account for completely different matter and you can understand my shock when i have read title of one of the mail, 'your blog has been reinstated', checked the blog address and it was back on tracks!
I still don't know what caused it but my suspicion is that it was mirrored.to associated, i was reading that a lot of you are getting virus alert messages before you get to final destination of download link, blogger might have picked it up and raised the alarm bells. I was always using mirrored.to because it was the easiest was to upload one clip and have it on 10-15 downloadable sites instead of uploading the same clip individually, for that mirrored.to is now off the table and i will be using GoogleDrive and Rapidgator only, if something isn't working at time of the posting, i will probably use different hoster (any suggestions?), problem with GoogleDrive is that it stores clips for 30 days only, then they are automatically deleted (so i have been told), please understand, if you are late to the party, i won't be able to re-upload older clips again, what is gone is gone
and final note, i have been on blogger for more than 15 years, days i haven't posted were due to technical difficulties (software/hardware problem, internet connection), i took a longer pause between my second and third blog, otherwise i have been posting regularly every day, this time around i am taking some free time but don't worry, i'll be back, probably nothing in November but i see myself going back in posting mode in first half of December

ReplyDeleteGlad you're back. About GoogleDrive, I've been using it for 9 years to back up my files (including pics and videos) but it still there. Try it, might work for you the 2nd time.
ReplyDeleteso happy the king has returned!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're back. Take care
ReplyDeleteI'm also glad to hear that you're back.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Google Drive deletes anything, it's up there for good. But, there is, I think, a 30 GB limit on uploads, total, for free users.
So you'd have to manually clear files off to get storage back, when your have more than a total of 30 GBs on there.
Hope that helps.
Thank you for beeing a friend...!

ReplyDeleteIt’s fantastic that you got this blog re-instated! I’m just wondering if you are going to attempt to get your last blog, the one you used between 2021 through 2023, re-instated as well? At the very least, you could keep the other one as a back up in case this one gets deleted again.
