Lawtey confirmed in an interview that he had a full frontal nude scene in the show. There is not one shred of evidence to indicate this is a "fake" except the screechings of certain internet speculators who live to accuse every other frontal scene of being a "fake". Even when these actors come out and literally swear it is them, these same speculators then insist they must be lying. Give it a rest already.
He never actually said that he went frontal, just that it was very exposing. It's pretty obvious this scene, and the frontal in the next episode, are both prosthetics.
Honestly if I were an actor in this climate I simply would not bother. When you do the scene everyone immediately accuses you of using either a stand in or a prosthetic or a special effect. When it is confirmed, people parse your words to claim it is still not you. When in the past the actors have actually come right out and said it is them, they are accused of lying. So why bother doing the nude scenes at all if you never get the credit. Until someone from the show - either the actor or the creators says otherwise, then it looks real to me. They keep referencing his "bravery" with the scene, so not sure why it would be brave to use a fake dick. If anyone is waiting for the actor to scream "It's my cock" I sincerely doubt that will happen.
