  2. My god, could they make it any darker if they tried??? Why even bother?

  3. This never happens with female nudity, and as Messina has gone frontal in well lit scenes before why the coyness here?

  4. Not only is it way too dark, the resolution seems to decrease as well. Male nudity is once again becoming a ridiculous tease...Actor's wearing prosthetics(even if they have done nudity before) Body doubles, poorly lit scenes, it's frustrating...They sell 80% of this netflix/showtime serials on the sex factor, then barely deliver.

  5. I wrote something long and meaningful, but it was lost to a fucking adfly refresh. I won't try to reproduce, but I will say, in defense of HBO and all involved in this show and this scene, there were vital reasons in the context of the show that this happen in dark. It wasn't dark because they didn't want to show dick. It was dark for several reasons central to the core of the show. Artistically, it *had* to be dark. And as others have said, CM has shown his dick before, so what the fuck is the complaint? Go look at it elsewhere. On this show, in this scene, the only artistic choice was for it to be dark.

  6. His peen has been digitally blurred and darkened, which I think was the reason he consented to do the scene.

  7. The complaint is I have to see women naked in ads on virtually ANY site I visit, yet male nudity,in an actual scene, where it would be required, and it's absent for no good reason.

    1. There *is* a good reason. So often, what you say is entirely true. In this show in this scene, there is a good reason the man gets undressed and the woman does not. There is also a good reason the scene starts dark and gets darker.
